Just a few days in Miami: Art Basel '08

HELLO WORLD!  Here are a few shots I took during the first couple of days of Art Basel.  They are in no particular order, as I am still getting the hang of this "posting" business.

What follows is a somewhat randomized sampling of a handful of events from the first week of December. Included are pics from: the opening reception  for 'Russian Dreams' at the Bass Museum, ART LOVES MUSIC - a free concert on the beach on 21st street , and an art show at Buck 15.  All that was only Wednesday!

The very next day, (Thurs Dec 4th) I scrambled over to Wynwood and  proceeded to get lost looking for the Gen Art Vanguard.  While I wandered, I ran into some Botero sculptures.

After that I  found Gen Art- and it was fantastic.

Late that evening (or early Friday  morning) I had the pleasure attending a party at the spot formerly known as Laundry Bar, where a DJ named Madlib was spinning.

The rest of these pics are from Art Asia and Scope. As well as a few shots of the really fun punk show at the Marcy Gallery on Sunday Dec 7th, which Ric  and I attended together. Enjoy!
