In Memory of Atom Xmas

July 21, 1982 - January 24, 2009

What a shame.  Just 26 years old.  Such a good guy.

I first worked with Atom when I was managing the Dyslexic Postcards.  Recently he had started his own band and whenever I'd run into him he would always tell me how excited he was because he had just found a drummer.  

What a pity.

I'm dedicating the launch party to Atom.  

Miami, don't let our talented, young musicians be taken by drugs or alcohol.  People who use hard drugs tend to die, so even if you have to be an obnoxious friend make sure they get help.
