Screening of Aiden Dillard's Death Print @ Sweat Records - January 21, 2009
This post is a follow up to: REV Miami Previews Aiden Dillard’s Death Print
It was a great night!
Sweat Records was so packed that I ended up sitting on the floor. The movie was incredibly funny and definitely entertaining.
But honestly, I don't really think I'm a qualified to review this movie. I was entertained solely by seeing a bunch of people that I know from the local music and art scenes act out some of the most awkward things I've ever seen on screen - like watching Otto Von Schirach seduce two women by asking what their fetishes are; or Notorious Nastie screaming at people, art pieces, cars, children, or anything, throughout the whole movie; or the incredibly awkward kiss between him and Afrobeta's Cuci Amador (sorry I didn't get you in the last post, I didn't even know you were in it!).
It was a lot of fun meeting people who I'd written about but hadn't had a chance to be introduced. The whole affair was a really enjoyable and laid back. And a special thanks to Lolo and Sweat Records for hosting.
Aiden is going to keep me up to date on what is going on with the film, when it's going to be finished, and when it'll be released for distribution. Very cool. Enjoy the pictures.

Demonic Aiden!
