Flamingo Friday & REV: BlowFly's BDay Bash + The First REV Friday Party! (March 6)
What a great time! The first REV party at PS14 (every Friday) went incredibly.
I'm including photos of the REV party, and at the end of the post I'll put up the pictures from the Flamingo Friday party, which was Blowfly's 70th Birthday Bash.
Let me make a really special thank you to AluKard. They were supposed to play that night, but we had some issues that really pushed the night back (very, very unfortunate). As a favor to me they agreed to take a rain check.
I've known Level and E. Grizzly as friends before I started REVMiami, and I really appreciate the support and help they've given me and the site.
Thanks a lot guys.
Since they couldn't be showcased the night of the show, I really hope everyone who reads this post checks out AluKard's Myspace Page and takes the time to listen to their music.

I am going to start this post off with a picture of the poet who read, Jaren. This guy's work was incredible. I'm a fan of poetry and his stuff is really, really good (and trust me, it's really easy to find really bad poetry).
It really shocked me.
I'm posting his picture, but keep an eye on this post because I hope to put up one of the poems he read, which was mind blowing.
