Stone Groove: WMC Edition (March 24, 2009)
Last Tuesday was the first time I had ever attended The Stone Groove poetry/open mic night at the Vagabond, hosted by Marcus Blake and Rod Deal.
The WMC edition was held in the larger, main room. "It's the regular Stone Groove on steroids", Rod explained
There was a wide variety of performances, featuring: The 3rd Party, Fitzroy, The Heartbreakers, Punch3nello and Name_Brand, Mind Over Matter, and Raffa and Rainer.
Not to mention, I was blown away by the range and skill of all the poets in the house.
The Miami talent on display at Stone Groove was seriously impressive. I will definitely be back.
