mausoleum-flyerOne of REVMiami's favorite parties, Mausoleum, will be moving to Bella Rose (423 16th Street, South Beach) this Wednesday, amid rumors that their former home, Black Sheep Bar, will be closing.

From what I've been told, they will maintain their current format with resident DJs Dracula's Daughter, Goodroid, and Andi Metro, plus hosting special guests, Lady Anime, Otto von Schirach, KC Killjoy, MarchosiasDebbie D, and many others.  They will also continue their one-time events in the vein of Miss Mausoleum, Gothic Fashion Show, etc.  And of course hosted by the Notorious Nastie.

Unfortunately, this week also marks the farewell/on-hiatus party for Black Sheep.  This Saturday, Black Sheep will be hosting a party that is welcome and open to everyone who has been involved with the venue.

Personally, I've done a ton of events at Black Sheep Bar featuring Mad Martigan, Andrew Sansac, Arboles Libres, Huma Rojo, Hatchetface, Fireside Social, Dyslexic Postcards, Xela Zaid, and a lot more.  Black Sheep has also hosted an unbelieveable amount of huge events, including Canibus, Basshead Fridays (who have featured some world renound DJs), Dieselboy, Drop the Lime, and a whole lot more.

From the rumors I've heard, this is an opprotunity for Black Sheep and it's owners (the brother and sister team of Mariana Loumiet, who also runs popular South Beach vintage clothing company Shop Bar, and Juan Loumiet, label owner of Basshead Records and premiere DJ and producer) to focus on their outside projects.

Good luck to them and Mausoleum.
