Sounds of Miami
This is a project that I've been trying to organize for awhile now. Usually when one of REVMiami's contributors does a piece on a band, I'll ask for a song to post along with the article.
Sounds of Miami is meant to gather those songs together in a centralized area so that anyone interested can hear the songs on demand.
Check out the page and all bands are urged to submit a song so I can post it up. Please make sure they are good quality, i.e. have a good recording and have been mastered. This is meant to represent the best of Miami music, not home quality recordings. Also, please submit them in .mp3 format, with a 128 bit rate, and a 4MB maximum. Be warned though, as of right now I'm doing the page incredibly low-tech (in a webdesign way), eventually I'll upgrade it so that it would be more convenient for me to post up songs, but for now it's pretty complicated and time consuming, so there may be a delay.
