Big City Breakdown 9: Radio Boxer- "Going Home Now"

Big City Breakdown (BCB) is video feature where local musicians are taken out of their typical performance element and placed at one of Miami's signature outdoor locations as they present a song. The presentation will be shot in a single running take with no editing magic. BCB is an opportunity to showcase Miamis best talent, highlighting their versatility without electricity, four walls, and other amenities of the bar and club scene.
Hometown pride is a reciprocal process, whereby one respects and supports all things local and their endeavors are repaid with the same interest and admiration. This cause and effect cycle is key in the success of Hialeah’s own Radioboxer.
When brainstorming locations with Jota, he suggested Tiny's Food Store in Hialeah. He explained, "It’s perfect because we are a Hialeah band and we're always at Tiny's". I witnessed the mutual appreciation the band shares with Hialeah on the night we met them for the shoot.
Radioboxer arrived at the store in the following formation: Vanne, Jota, Esteban, Gian, Santos, and Tekilla 23. Tiny’s workers and patrons were accommodating to our project, allowing us free reign of the store to follow the band up and down the aisles like minstrels. An audience of fans gathered outside clapping and singing along to the catchy tune “Going Home Now”.
We welcome Bob Rich as a new contributor to the project; he is featured as the man behind the camera in this episode.

AMAZING ! Radioboxer is truly Miami's best new band!
[...] On the night of Garcia’s opening, PinkGhost will also be celebrating its three-year anniversary with raffles, goodie bags and music from tropical garage band Boxwood and Miami alternative rock band Radioboxer. On a related but slightly distracting note, Radioboxer was recently featured in RevMiami’s Big City Breakdown, an ongonig series of videos depicting local bands performing “without electricity, four walls and other amenities of the bar and club scene.” RevMiami filmed Radioboxer making its music while wandering through the aisles of Tiny’s Food Store in Hialeah. Here’s the resulting must-see video. [...]
[...] Radioboxer even recorded a video inside of a mini-market (Tiny’s Food Store) in Hialeah. The video was featured on Rev Miami. Rev Miami has a regular feature called “Big City Breakdown” where they ask local musicians to perform, unedited, in a scenic location around town. Click here to watch that video. [...]
