Harvest of Hope Festival 2010

REVMiami's pre-coverage of Harvest of Hope 2010The Harvest of Hope music festival in Saint Augustine, Florida is unique from many of the other music festivals going on during the summer months. The music festival is all to benefit and raise awareness for the non profit Harvest of Hope Foundation, which provides financial, educational, and service oriented aid to migrant workers all over the country. The event showcases a large group of musicians, as well as artists and local vendors, and a non profit "educational center" that will help raise awareness to the festival's cause.

Harvest of Hope is bringing in the 2010 festival season by being the first multi-day concert that will be happening this year. Last year, over 17,000 attendees came out to support over 100 punk, indie-rock, hip-hop, alt-country, folk, and blues bands. This year the lineup is featuring a diverse roster of national and international acts including: Billy Bragg, Dr. Dog, The Mountain Goats, Dead Prez, Anti-Flag, Portugal. the Man, Black Sheep, Man Man, Kid Sister, Dr. Octagon AKA Kool Keith, and over 150 more bands.

Three-day tickets are on sale now and will rise in price as the festival draws closer. This will be the last week to get tickets at the early-bird price of $39.50. As the festival draws closer the tickets will rise to the prices listed:

From February 12th to March 11th, they will jump to $49.50. Walk-up 3-day tickets will be $60.00. Single day tickets will be available for $25.00 a day in advance and $35.00 a day the weekend of. Three-day camping passes are also available now at $19.50 a person. A small number of VIP passes are available at $99.50 per person, the VIP passes include access to the VIP tent, camping area, and a three day festival pass.
