Plum TV Interviews... Me!

My interview starts at about 2 minutes and 15 seconds.

This is pretty odd.  Truthfully, I had a feeling that after the 1 Year Anniversary Celebration, REVMiami would start getting interview requests.  But less than a month later?  Pretty strange.

I received the email from Jennifer (the female host) a couple of weeks ago, and she asked me if I wanted to appear on The Juice.

Hells yeah I did!

Just to show my hand a little bit, I never, ever intended to be a person who gets interviewed to wax philosophical about my opinions on local Miami music.  I always wanted this site to be it's own entity.  REVMiami does not equal Me and I do not equal REVMiami.  For example, name me the person who runs the Miami New Times?  It's kind of like that.

Nonetheless, it's being asked of me.  And the way that I've always seen it, the more this site can grow the more attention is brought to Miami music and arts.

I sorta don't mind, my enormous ego is getting a giant amount of pleasure out of seeing myself on television (as much as I try to avoid my ego it's still there).

Oh, and one more thing.  If you noticed I said that I was going to recommend 3 bands, and I only got 2 out.  The third was Tristan Clopet & The Juice.  Unfortunately, he got cut out for time purposes.  But what I said was, "Tristan Clopet, funk rock, very, very good music, he always puts out a ton of material."

Thanks to Plum TV, The Juice and all their crew and staff.

P.S. Naming Pat Metheny at The Filmore was for Rick from South Florida Daily Blog.  I made amends for missing him on my Filmore post for you!  Ha ha.

  1. I went to the Wilco show last night, and I'm planning to hit up the Black Keys. What you said about the Fillmore is SO true. Also, Sweat Records is bringing No Age down here. I can't wait.
