Forward Motion Records' New Music Video Tuesdays
The good people at Forward Motion Records have begun a practice of releasing new videos featuring their recording artists every Tuesday. The first installation began yesterday with "Smile" which appears on Kingsley and Perdomo's collaborative "Fake Smiles" album. Jill Hartman presents a video for "The Shepherd" off her recent release called "Things I Want To Remember". The Forward Motion Roster is growing with the addition of new artists, like the two featured in this weeks videos. Subscribe to the Forward Motion Youtube Channel to keep up with the video releases.
"Kingsley and Perdomo's "Smile" features Vic Kingsley (of the Westar) and Fernando Perdomo (of Dreaming in Stereo) on an after midnight walk in a dimly lit park. Shot mostly in one take .. the grim video is purposley a juxtaposition of the positive message of the track off of their Forward Motion debut album "Fake Smiles". This is the first music video filmed with the new Kodak Zxd hd camera."
"Jill Hartmann's "The Shepherd" was made last night in an amazing blast of creativity. The stop motion animation is the product of the multifaceted Hartmann who made the video by herself using rudimentary technology."
